Learn about Winnipeg’s first ever Bicycle Education & Skills Training program that was piloted this fall in 4 school’s from Seven Oaks School Division! Program coordinator Bob Lawrie will present on program goals and rollout, and what the future of the program can look like in Winnipeg.
2016 marked the 10th year of Bike Winnipeg annual bicycle counting survey, all of which have been supervised and documented by volunteer Jeremy Hull. Jeremy will give an overview of this year’s counts and provide some insight into what the numbers mean.
The cycling community needs to build off the momentum presented by the recent plans put forward by Councilor Lukes and Stantec Inc. Bike Winnipeg’s Mark Cohoe will give background on this emerging opportunity, underscoring the need for the community to get involved while offering improvements and feedback to the current proposal.
