This week’s rides

Bike Week is well underway, and there are many fantastic events this week. Bike Winnipeg is excited to share details on our rides happening this week.
Please pay attention to Bike Winnipeg and Bike Week social media accounts in case we have to cancel any rides due to poor air quality due to the wildfires affecting so many.

Northeast Local Bike Group Ride
Organized by the Northeast Local Bike Group, the ride will start at Habitat for Humanity at 7 PM, and end at Mountain Bean (2001 Henderson Hwy) with an optional return ride for those who prefer.
Where: Habitat for Humanity, 60 Archibald Street
When: Friday, June 13 from 7 to 8:30 PM

West Broadway BIZ Central Bike Loop
Join Bike Winnipeg and your local Business Improvement Zones for a free group ride around the Central Bike Loop. Get to know this friendly route that connects cyclists all around central Winnipeg. You can shop, eat, drink, and stay active all at once — on a cycling loop around seven of our city’s most happening neighbourhoods.
Where: Meet at the corner of Assiniboine Ave and Main St, across from Upper Fort Garry, where the Assiniboine bike path starts
When: Saturday, June 14 from 10 AM to 12 PM

Kidical Mass
Kidical Mass is an organized bicycle ride for children (and parents/caregivers!). We’ll be leaving from Vimy Ridge Park and make our way to the southwest corner of the Manitoba Legislature grounds where the Bike Week Bash will celebrate and wrap up Bike Week! There will be free refreshments, coffee and food on a first come, first served basis from local downtown vendors: Fête Ice Cream and Coffee, Banh Mi King, and Prairie Solar Cafe. The bash includes music, bike trivia, bike decorating and crafts, bike activities from Green Kids, free bike repair with the W.R.E.N.C.H., hula and more!
We’ll also have Bike Valet set up for free, secure parking!
Where: Vimy Ridge Park, Preston Ave and Canora St in Wolseley
When: Saturday, June 14 from 1 to 3 PM
