Thank You for Joining the April 26th Public Works Presentation!
A big thank you to all Bike Winnipeg members who attended the insightful presentation by the City’s Public Works team on April 26th! Representatives from the Road Safety and Active Transportation branches shared valuable updates on their current work and plans. We’re truly excited about the direction they’re taking.
As Councillor Janice Lukes (our event host) emphasized, it’s crucial for Winnipeggers to engage with their city councillors and advocate for road safety as a top priority. Ensuring protection for vulnerable road users—whether cyclists, pedestrians, or others—requires all of us to speak up and push for meaningful change.
