The Bike Winnipeg Ride Leader Course helps leaders and organizers create safer group rides for all. This course is for those planning routes and rides for medium to large groups of all ages and abilities. Areas covered include:

• Pacing & length
• Developing a route
• Choosing stops
• Creating a theme/narrative
• Registration and ticketing
• Waivers
• Creating rides for all ages and abilities
• Duty of care
  • Route
  • Time of day
  • Pre-rides
  • Organizing ride marshals

Bike Winnipeg also provides ride marshal training for folks interested in volunteering on Bike Winnipeg rides.

We’ll be in Room 2, Sport Manitoba building, 145 Pacific @ Lily. There is a bike storage room in the parkade. Ask for the key at the security desk.
