Bike For The Future – ending Bike Week

What’s the best kind of tired, you ask? We’re SO GLAD you asked! The best kind of tired is the one that you feel so happy and exhausted and can’t wait to do it all over again! That’s how we feel about this year’s Bike Week.

We ended it on Sunday with a Bike For the Future ride that started at The Forks playground, then off to Provencher Park and back to Central Park, Vimy Ridge Park and ended at the Legislative Grounds for a Bike Week wrap-up party with Hot Dogs and a live band.

We had about 60+ folks show up for this ride. Thank you to our fearless leader, Julia and our volunteers who made this ride happen. Thank you also to all volunteers, riders and mechanics, as well as Dave Elmore of Bike Week who spearheaded the whole thing.

But it’s not over, friends, we have many more events coming up this summer! Check out our calendar and come out to the next one.

Our next Bike Winnipeg Bike For the Future ride is on June 24 and we’ll be riding in Elmwood. Check out the details here and come join us for a safe, slow ride.
